
Energy storage systems — from photovoltaic power stations to grid-scale storage — require connectors with extreme environmental adaptability. Outdoor storage cabinets face harsh conditions including rain, humidity, temperature swings, UV exposure and vibration. WLconnectivity provides a complete hierarchical connectivity solution addressing signal acquisition, control communication, and power transmission at every level: battery module → BMS system → PCS → EMS → main power circuit.

Battery modules require cell series/parallel connection, individual cell voltage/temperature sampling, and BMS slave board connection. This layer handles many signals with low current in confined spaces, demanding connection stability and anti-loosening. WLconnectivity A1002 series (1.0mm pitch): Ultra-compact for individual cell and module-level sampling signal transmission. A2001/A2002 series (2.0mm pitch): Better mechanical stability for module-to-BMS acquisition board connections, suitable for light vibration environments. Core goal: reliable sampling in limited space.

BMS handles battery state monitoring, equalization protection and communication with PCS/EMS. This layer focuses on multi-path low-voltage signal transmission with low plug frequency, prioritizing long-term stable operation. A2501 series (2.54mm): Mature and cost-effective for board-to-board connections and auxiliary power interfaces. DP21 series: Multi-core connectors that consolidate multiple signal paths, supporting modular design for simplified assembly and maintenance. ES01 rectangular floating blind-mate (200A): Composite design for simultaneous power and signal — floating blind-mate eliminates tolerance issues, ensuring electrical stability. ES04 rectangular floating blind-mate (700A): Signal section available in assembled or one-piece injection molded variants, allowing customers to select matching connectors based on actual requirements, significantly reducing investment costs.

PCS Communication: Multi-core DP connectors and RJ45 cables for PCS-to-BMS data exchange and grid-tie control signals. EMS External Interface: DP29 multi-pin connectors for consolidating monitoring, alarm and control signals to the energy management system. Main Power Circuit: High-current DP21/DP29 connectors (up to 30A per pin) for main DC bus connections between battery racks and PCS, with IP68 protection for outdoor installation. Terminal blocks (VH3.96mm/screw-type) for field wiring in distribution panels.
